Rockport-Lamar will let the good times roll as it celebrates Lamardi Gras 2024.
This year’s festivities and fundraising takes place Friday Feb 9, 2024 & Saturday Feb 10, 2024. The parade begins at the old Fire Department, (224 Hagy) and follows Hagy Dr toward Bois D' Arc, turns right up Bois D' Arc toward the new Fire Department. LaMardi Gras helps to provide just some of the fundraising necessary for the Lamar Volunteer Fire Department through a fantastic Mardi Gras celebration with a local Texas flare. As with past celebrations, 2024's LaMardi Gras promises to provide two days of outstanding entertainment, fantastic food and a variety of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. Lamar is located just nine miles north of Rockport on Highway 35. The celebration starts Friday evening at 5-11pm and Saturday 10am to 11pm.
